This two-day workshop for all levels will concentrate on "disciplined looseness". Working from photographs, participants will learn Perry's process through demos and hands-on application. If past experience is any guide, it should be a productive and fun weekend.
This two-day workshop aims to let loose the creative side of your painting style, exploring new ways to approach brushwork and colour. "It's only ten bucks' worth of materials, so why not play?" Come and spend a couple of days breaking free from old habits, and giving yourself permission to break some rules.
Sponsored by the Thompson-Nicola-Shuswap chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists, this workshop is designed to encourage participants to let go of preconceived "I'm out to produce a masterpiece" ideas when starting a painting. Instead, we'll loosen up, experiment, get lively, and in the process just might get a great result.
