18"x18" acrylic on masonite. Vétheuil is a beautiful village on the Seine in Upper Normandy, not far from Giverny, Monet's famous home and garden. He also painted several canvasses from Vetheuil. It felt good to be wandering around his neighbourhood, wondering if he had set up his easel near this spot.
