Spring Pastures

The owner of the farm stopped by while I was painting this one, surveyed me for a while, and announced in a heavy European accent, "You're painting my ditch!" I'm not sure if he wanted me to pay a fee, or whether it was pride of ownership. I guess his ditch hadn't attracted anyone before.
