Reflective Patterns, Duffy Lake

20"x20" Acrylic on canvas. My friend and fellow artist Ron Hedrick and I stopped by the lake on the way home from a plein-air weekend in Lillooet a couple of years ago. Although this one is from reference photos, the day's light is indelibly etched in my brain, and an earlier plein-air at this spot reminds me of a wonderful couple of hours pushing paint around and slapping mosquitoes. I think there may be a couple embedded in the paint.
